The inCarDoc OBD2 Scanner is a comprehensive car diagnostics tool that allows you to check engine health, scan for issues, monitor real-time and stored diagnostic parameters, and keep a logbook of your car's performance. This innovative scanner communicates with the ECU of OBD2 compliant cars, providing you with accurate and detailed information.

Please note that to use the inCarDoc OBD2 Scanner, you will need an ELM327 or compatible OBD2 adapter. This scanner supports OBD2 (WiFi), Kiwi 3 (BLE), and iCar 3 (BLE) adapters.

Car Diagnostics

The inCarDoc OBD2 Scanner functions as a fault code scanner, allowing you to read the Check Engine (MIL) state, access additional details, view related freeze frame data, find descriptions, and clear any stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTC). It also enables you to store and share diagnostics data when seeking professional service or repair assistance. Please keep in mind that this app only supports parameters and ECU's specified with the OBD2 standard, which includes Engine and Emission systems.

Real-time Parameters

This scanner reads real-time engine and vehicle OBD2 parameters from your car's sensors, such as speed, rotation (rpm), coolant temperature, pressure, lambda, and other supported sensors data. You can visualize these parameters using chart drawing and analog/digital widgets. It is important to note that the exact list of exposed parameters may vary depending on your car's make, model, and year.

Economizer

The inCarDoc OBD2 Scanner features a special mode for presenting and tracking your car's fuel economy and consumption. This mode provides in-drive measurements, including instant and average MPG, as well as statistics for each trip and day. Please note that this feature requires appropriate economy parameters (MAF or MAP+IAT+RPM) supported in your car. To maximize accuracy, you may need to input your car's Engine displacement (in cubic cm) and volumetric efficiency (in %, default is 80).

Configuring the inCarDoc OBD2 Application

1. Connect the OBD-II Wi-Fi cable to your car's OBD-II connector (usually located under the steering wheel). Start the car engine and wait for the green light on the Wi-Fi device.
2. On your iPhone device, go to Settings and select "Connect to a Wi-Fi network".

After connecting to Wi-Fi, go to advanced settings:

• Set IP Address to Static.
• IP Address: 192.168.0.11
• Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
• Choose a device name for Wi-Fi.
• Exit settings.

1. Open the inCarDoc application and go to Settings to configure the following:

• IP Address: 192.168.0.10
• Port: 35000
• Click "Save".

1. Start the engine and view your vehicle parameters.
